Emoji for Firefox

This is a Grease Monkey script that can extend Firefox to be able to view emoji, which are Japanese smilies or emoticons.

To get emoji in Firefox:

First get Firefox.

Then, get the Grease Monkey Add-on.

Then get iPhone Emoji Reader (version 3). UPDATED 9/28/2009

New in Version 3

• Faster: should be way faster now.
• Bigger: all emoji are embedded within the script. This means that it doesn't depend on this website being up to work and if Apple tells me to stop distributing their emoji icons in the future, your copy of iPhone Emoji Reader will continue to work.

Entering emoji:

First open the emoji palette.

Then select the box under the image you want to use.

Finally, paste the character into a text field in your browser.
